1. What is your relationship with fivepounds ?

We are in no way affialited or connected with fivepounds.co.uk. The only thing in common between the 2 companies is that eightpounds.com has been established by a former team member of five pounds.

2. Whats to stop eightpounds.com being closed down in the same way that fivepounds.co.uk did ?

The reason for five pounds closing, was due to the fact that it was using a TFL Fleet Scheme - this gave TFL the legal tools neccesary to be able to close the scheme down. Eight Pounds however does not use a flett scheme, and we beleive there is no reason what so ever for TFL to even attempt to close this scheme down.

3.What is to stop a dishonest employee, abusing the privelage of holding credit/debit card details and using them indiscriminately ?

Your personal credit or debit card details are encrypted using the very latest 512 bit SSL encryption technology. Our staff do not have access to your personal details anyway. All personal details are stored in a secure database. Infact, we use the same data centre as HSBC, Xbox and other high profile UK sites.

4. 6:30 is inconvient for me, can i change the time i receive my text message ?

Yes you can, we are working on this at the moment and this facility should be ready and working very shortly. We shall contact you when this facility is up and running.

5. I began to create a membersip with you, however i never completed the details at this stage. I am trying to create my membership now, however your system is not allowing this.

Our system stores the information you have entered, therefore it is recognising this information as you are entering it again. If you log onto your account on our " Log In" page , you will be able to make payment to activate the account.
